    well I know this seems a bit simple but inside my golf V boot I can't see how to get the plastic bits each side of parcel shelf out, or do I just pull.....(that would be my normal strategy). I'm trying to get at the wiring for boot power supply.

    In the 8p a3 (basically the same car) there are two torx screws to remove near the inside handle and then pull at each corner as the trim is held in with spring clips
