    Can anyone help me ?

I have an almost new BNS 5.0 Sat Nav Unit which I want to fit into my 2007 A3 , at present its fitted with a Concert II unit.

Knowing that when I do the swap and power is restored to the BNS 5.0 Unit it will require its 4 digit Security code entering to get it to work again, does anyone know the procedure in order to enter a BNS 5.0 Sat Nav's security code .

Presumably there is a button , or two that must be pressed in order to initiate the entering of the code sequence , any idea which button/buttons .

Having initiated the code sequence, how is the 4 digit code entered into a BNS 5.0 ?

And how is the completed 4 digit code confirmed (saved) ?

And yes, I do have the code !

I also have the Handbook for the BNS 5.0 , but Audi in its wisdom leaves this very important procedure out in its entirety, as it does from the Handbook of my existing fitted Concert II unit .

    Thanks in Advance

It's simple to enter the code. When you plug it in all will be come clear.

Entered the code on my RNS-E within 10 seconds.

The code is stored within the unit and you only need to enter it once.

Why did you go for a BNS? You would've been happier with a RNSE IMO.
