Picked up a front set of rubber mats from Audi this evening. Ordered them at lunchtime and they had them in stock. Popped in and picked them up on the way home.

£38 incl vat, look like good quality and look pretty decent in the car, come with nice details like the A6 logo on them which the basic carpet mats didn't have.

Although I think the carpet mats give the interior a slightly more plush look they always look crap when dirty and I find that they wear really badly where your heals rest for the clutch, brake, accelerator pedals. Went through a few sets of front mats in my Seat Leon and the Audi carpet mats are showing indents from my heals after 2 months.

Hopefully the rubber ones will last far better. I have some in my BMW Mini years ago and they were excellent. Looked brand new years later, no dents / holes etc.

I've had my ones in for 4 yeas now and after a quick powerwash once in a while they still look brand new.

    Same as yours btw!

    Get the rears too!

You can see them slightly here https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...33275-Clean-A6!

Strange as it sounds for buying and driving a huge car like an A6 there is hardly ever anyone in the back so don't really need the rear mats just now , the rubber front mats just seem like far better value than the carpet ones.

After the wash give them a quick coat of AG vinyl & rubber care they look great even better than new... but don't over do as then you may find you slip on them ...

I find if I do them in the evening by the morning the AG coating has settled ...

Mine 15 mths old, got full set no issues ... got genuine boot floor cover again spot on ...

I got my front rubber mats from Audi at £38.

Was surprised that an Audi dealer was selling them on Ebay for £44, but am guessing that not everyone lives near or drives past a dealership often.

A month on a simple vacuum & wipe with damp microfibre followed by a rubber treatment and buff brings them up like new.

As a black car with black leather and tints they look awesome and not too dismal as I've interior ambient lighting
