Okay so I've found a gorgeous S3 that im going to purchase: my query is does anyone know of any ways to haggle price... Even though I've been told that it's at the bottom end already (except profit). It's not brand new so can't do the cooling period finance deal people tend to do on new cars. So I can only imagine asking for sole extras as the only way to get something out of the deal?

Any suggestions/ ideas welcome please

Do S3s suffer from the common G201 sensor problem? If so, you could negotiate £1500 off or so to cover the inevitable failure/replacement. Alternatively get a warranty drawn up to guarantee repair for that part when it fails.
