I've got a 2002 A4 avant with the Naviplus sat nav. It has the additional 10 pin mini ISO connector on the back for the TV tuner (or any other Aux input).

I have a friend who has a passat with the VW equivalent and he can enter the setup menu and choose whether the Aux input is 'Video + Audio' or 'Audio only' (i.e for an Ipod connector).

Is there a similar selection on the audi and how do I get to it.

    Cheers

is it done by multiple presses on the cd button?

On a similar example, my tv has many aux ports on it. that are only accessable when something is plugged in to them otherwise they can't be selected.

This could be the case with your aux function. Plug something in, it may come alive.

    not a clue sorry mate.

It'll be simple whatever it is.

If something is plugged in to the aux then it may be a press and hold function or multiple presses to cycle thru the options cd changer - aux - cd changer - aux - cd changer - aux -cd changer - aux

    get the idea?
