ok so i replaced the ht leads and spark plugs, cleaned the inlet manifold, cleaned then reprogrammed the throttle-body, ran injector/engine cleaner fluid through the engine i rescanned and im getting an error referring to the the power steering pressure switch grounding to earth, so i disconnected the switch and sprayed a bit of wd-40 and then a quick clean, followed the wires and noticed that they had been broken at some point, so i got them fixed with the crimping tool and fixed them, i then rescanned and nothing has came up..

when the engine is running its fine but once the engine heats up it idles pretty crazy yet doesn't loose any power, the only thing i can think of is maybe replace the power steering pressure switch, also the induction pipe that runs from the maf sensor to the throttle body is fine, but the little pipe that connects to the oil/camshaft breather is screwed (melted or collapsed on itself) so i opened it back up and electric taped it to seal it again, is this pipe pressurised when the engine is running ? im just wondering if i should replace it or leave it, i see hundreds of other people with the akl engine seal it with electric tape as-well

You need to do a learnt values erase and a throttle body adaptation and for that you would need your copy of VCDS Lite registering with Ross Tech which costs $99.
