When my tank runs low ( usually 40 miles on the display ) my car seems to have trouble starting from cold .... So long as there is fuel in the tank more than 40 mile it starts first time every time no matter how cold, the problem only occurs when the tank is running low, it will not start I have to constantly keep cranking it over then after a while the oil light wil come on it will splutter a little enough for me to apply some throttle to keep it going, then it will splutter a touch before all cylinders begin to run fine and I can drive off, as I say it doesn't happen if there is more fuel in. It's more an embarrassment if I run low than a real problem, but something isn't right with it clearly. Could it be fuel filter or something deeper?

Apparently as if this morn, it's not only with low fuel.... 110 mile on the dash and it tried it again. I wonder if its to do with the rain, ill have to check the airbox is on correct , no gaps allowing water to soak into the filter. Though I'm 98% sure it's on good
