    So it is what me and Link:- jubbly replaced on our cars and they have fitted a clip on the hose like on the 2009 - 2011 V6 has but the 2004 - 2008 does not from when I checked info ...

    After fitting the hose clamp on mine I have been viewing the small hose interconnect section on the charge air system on mine and no oil residue has formed on it , it's nearly been a month since doing this mod ...

    Just checked your original video and I saw that you never had a clip on the hose before either ...

    Sorry to hear it has not resolved your issue and hope the tranny oil change fix it for you mate ...

    just googled 3.0 tdi crankshaft pulley and found this thread. Today mine fell off, leaving me a bit stuck. Car must have been a bit upset as i was just in a dealership looking at a jag sportbrake

    April 2009: Bought Audi A6 3.0 TDi Quattro in Stratos Blue, Saloon, Manual Box, Heated Blue Leather, Cruise, 55 plate, 33k miles.
    April 2014: just run in at 80k miles, private plate, rattle from the CD player

    Read a few V6 TDi's doing this now, mainly the early ones. There was is a TSB about it near the end of this thread Link:- Broken...Gutted
