    Hi,
Has anyone changed the seals that are inside the tandem pump? I have a leaking of oil from the pump, so I though the two rubbers inside might need to be replaced. Can someone confirms that oil can leak from the tandem pump, because as far as I know there is fuel and air inside. Where the oil comes from? The camshaft that turns it?
    Thanks.

Sometimes you get a crack in the pump, you need to clean it and see where exactly its coming from. Not a difficult job if you can get the seals.

Do you mean to clean it before I take it off? Just wondered if the diesel that's insde can just leak out, when disconnecting the hoses, or it's better to blow in one of the hoses first?
Another thing is, will the car start if there is no fuel in the pump? Do I need fill it with diesel before I start the engine, like I do when change my filter?

Yes clean the pump before removal and see where its coming from, make sure its is oil because mainly they suffer with diesel leak.Put something under the pump to absorb the fuel before disconnecting the fuel hoses and it will leak out.Once you get your oil leak sorted put it all back together and turn the ignition a couple times and crank it.These are the best bringing diesel pressure up so shouldn`t have any problems starting.
