drivers side epb motor had stuck on, released the wheel by undoing torx nut (thanks martin) im trying to source a new motor but I really dont want to pay VW dealership prices quoted today £301 just for motor. Have looked around and found one with caliper attached for £199, now if I fit this new motor will the red light and audible sound stop without it being plugged into a garage computer or do they have to fit it & set it up. also is there any way of stopping the audible sound at all,, does get on your **** when driving around lol. thanks in advance,, Mark

No you can't stop the warning sound. Just swap the motor when the caliper arrives. No coding or anything is needed unless the controller is upset.
