    Guys,

I stupidly drove my pride and joy through some flood water 2 weekends ago and now the engine is completely seized. I think it's going to be written off so I am going shopping tomorrow!

I am thinking of a newer C6 A6 probably 3.0 Quattro and possibly Auto this time as manuals seem to be really rare with this engine.

Any hints/tips what to look out for? I've never owned an Auto before or a Quattro!

Manuals are very rare in the 3.0 TDi

Do a search in this section, its been covered hundreds of times before

quattro (small q btw ) cars are very sore on tyres - although I currently have Michelin PS2's (255/35/19) and so far they have travelled 27k and still have 4mm tread all round showing.

Audi told me you would be lucky to get 16k out of a set but ive proved them wrong.

MPG - 10-17 mpg around town .. 28-36 mpg on a motorway journey.

    do a search!!
