    Hi,
My first post here, so I hope it's in the correct section. I have an Audi B6 and saw that the current value was 2.3. I wanted to change it,as I've read that the optimal value is 0.5. The problem is that now the car has a black smoke when started. I haven't driven it yet, to see how it goes.
Is this normal, because the engine wasn't running properly before this change, or not? What else might be the problem?
The nozzles' values seems to be ok on ch 13. The EGR seems to be fine too. It was cleaned two months ago.

    Thanks,
    Stan

I don't have the original figure for that engine and I don't have a car in today with the same engine. What was the value in 004/4 when you first went into Basic Settings 04?

I should have said it was a mechanical work I unscrewed the three bolts on the camshaft wheel that holds the timing belt and turned it a bit. This changes the syncro angle.

Put it back where it was! The timing is set with pin and plate and no other method, as you have proven!!!
