Just ordered my A6 Black Edition in Ibis White

Hi all first post

As the title suggests, I've just ordered my new car, this will be my third Audi, but for some reason I'm more excited about this one

S line suspension (further 10mm lower)

Couple of items I would like your opinion on

1 As an iPhone user, have I wasted money on the phone high

2 Is Ibis white a good choice for RV in 3 years time (it's popular now, but may not be then ?)

3 Will I have much trouble finding someone to make the TV work when driving

4 What channels do you get on the TV ?

3 Will I have much trouble finding someone to make the TV work when driving

4 What channels do you get on the TV ?

1 To get any benefit from having the Phone High option with an iPhone you will need to but the associated cradle, and if you have an iPhone 5 then I do not think there is a cradle available for that yet. As the iPhone does not support rSAP you will not be able to use the iPhone for any of the Audi Connect functions that come with the High Phone option. To use those you will need to put a (standard size SIM or micro/nano SIM in holder) in the slot in the dash. But doing that you will then not be able to connect your iPhone via Bluetooth (a quirk that US buyers do not have). In my opinion if you have an iPhone then there is little point in having the High Phone option with Audi Connect because it will be a real pain to use it.

3 The TV will revert to audio only when the car is moving, unless you make the required changes using VCDS. If your question is relating to finding someone with VCDS to do this for you then look at a post by A6_Chris and click the link in his signature. Be aware that each time you take the car to the dealer it is very likely they will reset the cars systems to what Audi believe they should be (ie as the car left the factory) thus requiring you to remake any changes you have made when you get the car back.

4 I believe the car gets a Freeview tuner so you can get all Freeview channels (and when in Europe the local equivalents of those). Your issue will be how good the reception is when the car is moving and even stationary whether you have good line of sight to the local transmitter
