    Hi
I'm after the torque settings for the T20 torx bolts on top of the fuel filter? Mines developing a nice puddle under the filter housing that can only be coming from there but before I take the lid off to look at the o-ring, need to know what to tighten it down to. The only information I can find in the Haynes manual is to "tighten the bolts equally" no actual setting, but if I tighten it any more it feels like i'm going to thread something.
    Thanks
    Glenn

Use a torque wrench or torque screwdriver. Have a Google: Bontrager 5Nm Torque Wrench

About 3.5 lbsft, so a 6" long ratchet would need about 7lbs of force on it.
Its not much, a tip of a forefinger can generate arouind 15 lbs of force comfortably.

Just don't overtighten them, as the thread bites at a stop point is enough, it's not going anywhere as the seal makes a tight seal anyway, hth.

5Nm is about the normal torque applied with a medium screwdriver . You would have to a gorilla to apply much more .
