    Don't drive it too hard - keep the revs below 3000 as 'ragging' it can make it clog up more.

    Thank you for the tip . I might open a New thread for this, but anyone know why the DPF regeneration process only should be done in "emergency" cases? AFAIK this regeneration is what the dealer does when you have this issue With the DPF (my uncle did have this issue With his A4 B8 when it was just 12 months, the dealer did the regeneration trick...)

    If your engine light and glow plug light flashes hen its time for a forced regen and time to et it to a dealer for a more than likely DPF Pressure sensor

    Worked perfectly, drove in S and after 5mins it was gone

    I don't know if any use but an informative read... google ssp 350... pages 32 onwards have got info on the pre facelift v6 DPF setup/active & passive regen...
