As some of you may have read in my other posts I am slowly collecting all the bits I need to change out my Grey SE Interior to a nice Black 2007 S-Line interior, I now have everything I need except the Carpet and upper Dash, I have tracked these down locally to me (Nirro's in Barking) and hopefully will get these bits this weekend. The question I have is......I have found a couple of upper dashes, one of them on ebay has the Illuminated air vents, I would like this one (it's about double the price of the one from Nirro's!!) but want to know if anybody knows if the wiring loom is already in place for the illuminated vents or if I have to do some modifying for these to work?

Hi. My 2001 SE has the illuminated vents, although they are not connected, and there's no wiring present. So chances are that all A4's have illuminated dash vents. I'm currently working on wiring them up to have them lit and also door handles

How would you go about wiring them up? would it be to the Light switch? or go via the side light feed?
