So not long after I bought my car from stratstone the EML came on, the stratstone I bought it from are a jag specialist but had a universal OBD2 port reader and it bought this fault up:

    19804/P3348/013128 - Ross-Tech Wiki

They told me nothing to worry about and that it says to clear it intermittent so keep driving it...MY ****!

I asked for the code so I could get a better understanding, when I next spoke with them I told them everything off the ross tech site - they said we need a second opinion from Audi which they got, and it was everything I said to them - lol

Its now getting a new turbo, will get it back next week

My grammar is probably rubbish because Im a bit livid writing this and the car has been with Stratstone/Audi for over a week and i really miss it

    Patience is a virtue

Theres an actuator/solenoid on the turbo thats gone faulty and/or the turbo veins are blocking, this is throwing up the fault, and the only resolution is a turbo unit change

that code clearly says electrical fault. there is nothing electrical on a turbo. ???
what engine code do you have ? or type of engine if you can't get the engine type code.
    very strange i think.

I am guessing the boost control solenoid. imo you really need VCDS for VAg cars obd scanners even big brand names still miss stuff

Yes, Audi has confirmed it, first Stratstone got that code then they sent it to Audi for a second opinion and the same code came up - they are changing the turbo under warranty so i cant complain

They may be fitting a new turbo but it won't cure it. I have one of the same cars in today and see a lot of 2L 4F's with this code and it is simply a broken wire to the solenoid as the wiring was designed too short and thin.
