Just a quick one,

My misses has just paid a deposit on a the above. After trawling a few forums and websites it seems that the Ibiza's are a little temperamental to say the least, she has bought this car as a CAT D stolen recovered all fully repaired however to my surprise she later added that the car has no history on a V5 present. Its come from a dealer who has offered a 3 month warranty which also supposedly covers the cam belt?!?!?! now call me cynical or negative (as she described it) but this seems like Russian roulette, the car has done 126k and according to her runs as sweet as a nut.

now i have only ever owned Audi's so i know nothing about Seat except that they are VAG and i am going to pop along with her tomorrow to pick it up question is should I be smacking this bloke in the face and getting her deposit back and oh i forgot to mention she has put her A2 1.4 TDI in as part ex

All opinions would be greatly appreciated!

do yourself a favour, don't let her go car shopping again.
seats are good, like a golf but cheaper, but imho not as good as a skoda.
this one may have a full history and been serviced twice as many times as needed and could be the bargain of the century, but i wouldn't take the chance, its not as if its a sellers market.
