Hi. I have a 2.0 Gti and I need a new coil pack. Problem is I'm not sure which one. I have found these two examples on ebay from the same seller, both say they will fit my car but they are VERY different prices.

The first (cheap) one doesn't look like the one on my car, but the description says it fits my azj engine:
    VW GOLF MK4 2.0 85KW 99-04 NEW IGNITION COIL PACK | eBay

The second (expensive) one looks like mine, it also says it will fit:
    VW GOLF MK4 2.0 85KW 99-04 NEW IGNITION COIL PACK | eBay

Obviously my pocket says go for the cheap one, as I'm looking to sell the car before Christmas and the tax is due. There are cheaper versions of the second one on there, but still not as cheap as the first.

Also had a look on GSF and they have three different sorts for my car, typically the one that looks like mine is the expensive one at £95.

If I'm honest I don't really want to spend over £50 on this but if needs must...

If you are selling the car, I would go for the cheaper version as long as you can be sure that it will do your job, you were saying that it doesn't look the same as what you have at the minute. Buyer beware !!!

Ask the seller if they can check by your number plate of chassis number then you should have a guarentee that it will work or not so you can send it back if needs be?
