    i have a problem on my A6..

    when i put the indicator on to turn left or right, it just lights up with no ticker..

    the lights come on but there is no blinking, can anybody help...


    audi a6 1.9 tdi avant 2004

    Either the hazard relay is on the fritz and needs replacing or its water in the ccm under the passenger footwell carpet, i would have thought anyway.

    thanks lads..

    its weird because if i press the hazard switch that works okay, then the indicator works too..

    a few minutes later the indicator stops working...


    what part am i asking for, is it the Hazard switch relay ?

    Give it a scan first, as Snaga says it could be the CCM under the carpet thats damp

    The hazards will work properly. There's 2 relays in there - one for the hazards, another for the indicators. The indicator one always fails first.

    The part to ask for is the hazard switch. The relays are inside it.
    Duct tape is like The Force. It has a Light Side and a Dark Side and it holds the universe together.
