    Exclamation Suspension ? knock when braking... – 10-10-2012,10:10 PM
    I have recently replaced the front pads on my B5 and now when I brake I get a sort of click or knock from both front wheels. I have checked the suspension arms and no play is detected and made no noise with old pads.
    Sounds like a suspension knock but can't find anything.
    Anyone had this before ??

    usually it's cheap pads moving in the caliper.

    Good call Martin, have experienced this and a decent set of Mintex pads sorted it.

    pads from tps were cheaper than gsf or euro when i got some and fit like a glove and were less than £30 notes
