A4 Quattro non start

Hi New member question, hope someone can help.
A4 Quattro 1998 just fitted new clutch and flywheel and after completion the car will not start. At first thought that the flywheel was in wrong position but found that it can only fit in one place. Have checked flywheel sensor and all is ok. There is no fuel or ignition, also no live to the relevant fuses. It is as though the imobilizer is on. Also checked for trapped wires but none found. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Regards Brian.

The immobilser usually let the car fire then stops within a seconded are the igntion lights on, do you have a fault reader?

Hi. We have a Scanner and there are no recorded faults or codes and we do have all ignition lights. Also have checked the fuel pump relay which is working.

Thank you any one who read the thread. We found the problem, the brand new flywheel didn't have a trigger ring probably down to bad manufacture. Completely missed it on assembly. Should have been more vigilant but you would expect it to be correct from a major supplier. Regards Brian
