2009 vs 2012 downgrades?

I'm loving my new S-Line but there are a bunch of "little things" which seem downgraded. Previous car was a Le Mans so I'll try to stick with S-Line equipment where I can tell the difference
.

• residual heat: Turn on the climate control when ignition off, heat or just ventilate. Not available on C7.
• Centre Air vents heat adjust: I was previously able to adjust the air temp in the centre vents, no longer.
• Exterior light durations: coming home etc, used to have configurable durations
• Geeky (but cool) electric glove box release (sad I know but I miss it)
• B-piller rear air vents: new car only has rear centre console vents
• Footwell lighting control: ability to enable and adjust brightness of footwell lighting. new car has no settings, they just come with internal courtesy lighting.
• Mobile ringtones played through car systems when mobile rings.

It appears these are within options packes now The residual heat and controallable centre vents was a useful thing on my BMW, and I think the Residual heat and additional B pillar vents are available on the 4 zone climate control

Dimmable footwell lighting is with Ambient light pack and mine plays ringtones through the stereo when my phone rings,


Just expected to pay more for everything now!!!!

Just noticed that I no longer have a tinted strip across the top of my windscreen either.
and a space saver spare!
