    Apart from that I'm clear....

Its not the busiest of forums here but then I suppose thats not surprising given the newness/lower number of owners. But I am considering a Tig...with auto and 4WD about a year old as i don't think dealers realise there's a recession on !!

But is it worth it I ask ?

Probably go for the 140bhp SE/Match diesel of course but tempted buy the DSG for sure. 4WD would seem a nice to have .... but the 2WD is cheaper and easier on the fuel.

    Thoughts ?

I realise its some time since you posted this question. I have just taken delivery of a TIG 2.0 SE 4-motion with DSG and its superb. On a 'tight' new engine I'm getting 42 mpg around the doors. The 4wd is great to raise your confidence.... Especially if, like me, you are high above sea level and see a lot of snow.
The DSG box is so silky smooth you don't really notice the gear changes.
