Does anyone know if I can replace my steering wheel with a multi function wheel. I am looking at an B8 wheel and have a garage who can fit but not sure if it is possible and what the coding would be. Have already replaced wiper stalk with DIS version and had coded which works perfectly?

Try and get a B7 wheel if possible as the airbag wiring may be different.

Also a vcds autoscan dump would be useful to see if your steering control module is compatible with mfsw.

Thanks again. Was looking at the B8 wheel as cosmetically better looking but take your point. There is a seller on ebay in Sweden selling new genuine wheels who state they are compatible. Cost is £170+ and don't want to get it wrong. The car is in v good condition and still under 12 months dealer warranty even though a 2005 car. Only things it did not have as standard were the DIS which I have now added and the MFSW and cruise control that I don't want although cheap upgrade.
