B6 Passat - Reverse Light Problem

Hi,

The right rear parking light isn't working on my 2005 B6 passat. Left one is working just fine which is odd.

Things I've tried so far:

- Changing the Bulb
- Swaping over the bulb housing. Tried the one on the opposite side which works and it didn't work when I switch it over.
- Checking the fuses (only one fuse for both reverse lights on a b6 passat).

So I've eliminated the bulb housing and bulb as modes to failure. Any other ideas what it could be or how i would go about diagnosing it?

Really..... why is there two bulbs either side then?

isnt one side reverse and the other a fog light same as my jetta looks like same clusters

That's correct - one side is the reversing and the other the rear fog.
