    Default Engine idle – 18-09-2012,02:03 PM
    Hello peeps,!.
    I have an Audi a4 1.8t on a 04/54 plate and I notice this morning when I started the car the rev needle stayed below the 1 mark just like when you start the car when the car is already warm, normally when the car is cold the revs will be above the 1 and then gradually go down. Is there a reason behind this???
    Your expert help would be appreciated in tis n I apologise if there is already a post relating to this!

    Oh n i forgot to mention that the fan comes on almost instantly
    N than goes off afta a while??
    Any suggestion would be great!!

    it maybe the coolant temperature sender, try a search related to this

    The weird thing is that the car is runnin fine, no lights code etc

    thing is both the systems you said where playing up rely on the coolant sender. auto choke and cooling fan
