    Hi,

My drivers door switch isn't working, I've pulled the rubber cover back and can't see any broken wires, does anybody know which colour wire is for the door switch so I can concentrate on that. Also how do you unplug it from the wing? It looks like a ISO plug but don't want to break it by just digging and pulling at it!!

They might not be broken, look for a pinch/bend in the wires.
I think there is clip at the back of the plug that releases the loom.

I'm feeling rather smug with myself right now. I know I've done my Water Pump in the past and this job isn't anywhere near as big as that but this little problem was annoying me so much that now I have fixed it i'm well pleased!! I stripped the door down and removed the whole door wiring loom (Now know that was not entirely necessary) I found 2 broken wires, They were not fully broken, just bared insulation and a few broken strands, I soldered them lightly so as they still had some bend and heat shrunk the bare wire. Fitted it all back and I now have a door open on the DIS but most importantly the chime back when I leave my lights on!!!!!!!!! I'm well pleased with myself.

Only thing left now is Aerial amplifier has the dreaded Crack on it so I have poor FM Signal and my Fuel Gauge doesn't work, but I can live with these faults. Im nearly there now with the car. Fitting the skirts this weekend so the Exterior is Complete then, all that's left is Engine mods!!
