    Have you checked the connector and measure the resistance. Regards Peter

    Hi Peter,

    I didn't get to measure the resistance. I was told I could end up damaging part of the ecu by using the multi meter. So decided against it.
    The pump arrived today with a new bracket, €136. Fitted in half an hour. Started the car, plugged in the vcds to the ecu and cleared the fault, started the car checked for the code again and didn't appear back since. So happy to have it sorted now
