    Hi All,

been trying to get to the hidden menu on an A6 C7 Avant (2011) with dual SD Card rather than the hard drive solution for maps etc.

Tried to enable adaptation channel 6 in unit 5f (Vagcom) - it accepted it but when I read it again it had changed back to 0... Changed channel 5 as mentioned somewhere else and this worked. When I press Car and Menu I get a screen with "loading green menu" and it gives a whole list of options but none of them include things like the battery meter etc.

Is this the only hidden menu or is there some othe one (apart from the engineering menu - car and backup together)?

    Any help would be great,

    Thanks,

    W.

As far as I am aware, there is only one green "hidden" menu. I had no luck in enabling the battery meter in my C7 either (albeit the Nav High rather than the Nav Basic version). I tried the same settings that worked in my C6 to enable the battery meter, but no joy. I didn't want to start messing around randomly with settings in there, so that's how things stand currently.

If you do manage to figure out how to enable it, I would be very interested to hear!

    Good luck!

    MF.

The basic nav is the RMC unit and is totally different from the HDD nav unit, but it is the only green menu.

    Thanks Craigyb,

just for my own interest, what is "RMC unit" and do you know if it is possible to get Video in motion on it.

    Thanks
