I spotted a C7 saloon on Interstate 5 today, heading south towards San Diego. It was the 3.0 Supercharged variant, but what caught my attention were the rear lights. Where our models have a U shaped set of red LEDs for the brake lights and a straight row of orange LEDs across the top for the indicators, the US model had red LEDs in place of our orange, meaning that the brake lights form a closed shape all around each light cluster. I actually thought it looked smarter than our option! Sadly, I was driving so had no opportunity to get a picture.

I did briefly consider tailing him and asking if I could scan his car to see if I could crack the sim-in-dash-and-connected-Bluetooth riddle when he stopped, but thought better of it - some Americans carry firearms!

    MF.

You brought your cable on holiday ..... Seriously?

The US specced cars get it easier than us - more standard kit from factory and due to the GBP/USD exchange they're about half the price

Hee hee. My cable and laptop are both back home, actually! Shows how obsessed I am that I thought about it while driving, though!
