    Anyone done it?

Not got my car yet, but seem to remember the seats don't fold entirely flat.

Now I can't cancel the privacy glass on my order trying to think of some positives! I occasionally do 600 mile+ round trips in a day and it would be nice to have the option to pull over for an hour and have a kip if I get tired.

The privacy glass is fine, i am happy with it despite worries about black car with black interior being to dark. You will be happy with it i am sure.
Re sleeping, hmmm, havent tried it, but have slept in much worse cars ni the past. A6 avant would be luxuriousness in comparison.

Although the Adaptive Cruise Control will take you from London to Edinburgh, the Active Lane Assist only keeps you in lane for about 10 seconds after you let go of the steering wheel, so you'll need to keep a foot on the steering wheel and twitch fairly regularly.

Correct, the seats do not fold completely flat so it may be a slightly less comfortable sleep

On a camping stag weekend, I found the back of the A6 with a blowup mattress to be a far more comfortable and appealing alternative to the tent! It's just the right size.
