hi all, someone is offering these wheels. i think they're off an A5. i have no idea what spec they are but i think they're 18's. will these go straight on my b6 1.9tdi quattro or will i need mods? if so what do i need to do? i heard i may need spigot rings. what do you guys think? thanks for the help. havent seen them on a4's so leads me to believe that they're hassle or it doesn't get the right look/stance. please help guys

Forgot to add, If they are Genuine Audi A5 Rims then you will definately need spigot rings, They could be Copies and therefore may be made for an A4

If they're genuine there will be a part number stamped in the inside of the wheel.

I agree, they look lovely on that Avant.

8.5J will require a wider tyre and you may encounter some rubbing, You could always go the Euro route and get smaller width tyres and have them stretch across the rim, This gives the appearance of a much lower profile tyre on the rim, In my oppinion not the best idea as it leaves the rim open to major Kerbing potential!!

If they are Genuine then they will 100% fit your car with a Spigot ring adaptor (ESSENTIAL!!!) if you think they are worth it then i would go for it. If they are no good you will easily get your money back on them (and more with the Tyres)

If you've not seen it, this is what i mean by tyre stretching, They do sometimes go far more extreme but this is what you would probably get away with.

thanks for the info man. TBH i don't want to ruin the ride with rubbing. i drive a lot in london so it may be annoying after a while. could i roll the arches? don't really want to go down the euro look with kerbing issues.
