    Hey all,
A big buzz has gone on in the Scooby UK site and a member there is organizing a meet for his 11 yr old son who has about a month left to live.
It has turned into about 1,000 cars and is just simply amazing.

If there's anyone from this site, UK based and local to the event you may want to be there, to show support for a car enthusiasts dying son.
Anyone in the Huddersfield area on Sept 8th would be more than welcome.

The thread with information is here: Meet for Zippys Son - Organisation - ScoobyNet

Facebook page with updates is also found here: Update Your Browser | Facebook

The location may change due to the size this thing is growing and they should update the threads with new info.

That's horrible to hear that happening to such a young lad. Fair play to Zippy for taking on such a monumental challenge to make one of his son's wishes come true.

Good job posting this Jim, I don't think my bog standard A6 would add much to the event, but it would be nice if there was a nicely modded Audi there if one of the vwaf crowd can get there.

Thanks Brycie, I agree with your comments and can't even begin to even nearly imagine what the guy must be going through!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it either, but thought perhaps some local guys may be able to get along.

I'll be there in spirit if not in body on the day, thats for sure.
