I have just done 200k miles on my 2.0 tdi Avant - tuned to about 180 by performance tourque in Kidderminster. I have a cambelt change comimg up and was wondering what is best for longevity and increasing the performance.

I have on my list - new clutch - still on the original, uprated or hybrid turbo, egr delete and clean up of intake system, front mount intercooler, or double intercooler, ie drivers side . Tune up of injectors?? gut the cat converter...what else can be done to improve things. I find the car really drivable, smooth most of the time, would love to have it a bit quieter for the long journeys

What else would I need to consider for another 200k miles of happy mototring. So far only had to do regular serviceing and cam belts, fell foul of the oil pump drive issue and recently replace the turbo for standard.
