Ipod connection

Mornin all!

So my car is a 2006 (Late) 2 TFSI S-Line A6. At the moment i do not have the ability to plug in an ipod. So, what do i need to do/buy etc to enable me to plug in and then have it interactive on my MMI, is this possible?

Also, while on the subject of electrics, what do i need to buy/do, to make my phone connect bluetooth for hands free?

These are me assuming you have High - central colour screen.

If you dont have this then the AMI won't work.

Also it you don't have a TEL button the Bluetooth might not work either.

I had a Dension Gateway 500 installed in my 2007 A6 3.0 TDI Le Mans in 2009 which integrates with the MMI system and charges my iPod. The cost was around £400 and it has worked flawlessly since installed.

I picked up a connects 2 ipod interface for my Audi A3 and fed the wire through the ashtray (as I dont smoke in the car) cut a small rectangular holein the bottom of the ashtray housing (just bug enough for the end of the ipod connector to fit, applied 1 layer of cellotape and wedge it, it is now a standing ipod/iphone dock, it looks clean with no wire all over the place.

I picked up the Connects 2 interface from eBay for £25 second hand, brand new they are about £50-£60.

however this does not have bluetooth capability so just a quick cheap fix to get your music through your stereo
