My driver's side rear door lock is broken but due to the design of the door panel (it extends over the edge of the door, over the door lock), i can't get access to the lock to get it replaced. is there a workaround here or am i going to have to break the door panel? thanks in advance, folks.

You might be able to get it off whilst the door is stuck in shut position. There are three screws behind the fascia panel at the top and 1 below the armrest/closing handle. Once they are removed its simply a case of giving it pull from the bottom to remove it. You'll definately break all the clips, but a your local Dealer will replace them all for less than £10.

Moving on, next problem is that you have to have remove the glass window regulator to get to the lock. Haynes manual time me thinks!!!
