Hello again!

I have questions coming out my ears.

My car has the ipod adapter rather than the CD changer...

Is there any way of getting track names displayed!? As much as shuffle works, I want to be able to chose music!!!!

Only way to display track names afaik is to fit AMI and a MK2 RNS-E.

I'm not 100% sure but a Dension unit might provide track names but I need to check this in the morning.

The Dension unit will provide you with track names if you let it control the iPod/iPhone/USB however the interface is pretty ugly to use as you have to 'switch' CDs to control it. If you use the iPod/iPhone to control the playlists etc. unfortunately it won't show you the tracknames, it just displays "iPod UI" :-(

Another option which I'm still considering is Nokia CK100.

Had one in the passat, blutooths the music to the car, phone in a cradle (no dash screws or damage to car) will also support Bluetooth phone calls, allows use of Siri in car.

Not ruled this out yet as works great.
