Ok, Trying to get my head around the audio system installed in the car.

No CD player and the non ability to navigate an iPod has driven me to use the SD card slots for the time being.

I've converted files from MP4 to MP3 and loaded them on a TDK 16GB SD card but when I insert this in the player it just says 'Loading'.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Any help appreciated

Just some further info on A6_chris's post.
SD Cards MUST be SD.....not SDHC. 4gb cards that are not sdhc exist but there is a file limit (512 I believe) and you don't need a 4gb card for 512 files.....so unless it's long tracks like Shine On You Crazy Diamond or long classical pieces, you're just as well to use 2gb cards. Incidentally, using 128kb as a bit rate is perfectly adequate, even for audiophiles - remember you're in a car with wind and engine noise so 320kbps may cd quality but in a car is that really necessary?
    In my opinion it's not.

2gb card is adequate. Also don't waste your money on fast transfer cards - also unnecessary unless you plan on using it in a camera too.

ok, cheers chaps. My idea was to bundle a bunch of music onto a couple of 16's and forget about them. Have never kept music on SD cards so had no idea I could get 500 files inside 2GB. That's me showing my complete lack of understanding about kb,mb and gg's lol

i'll give the 16gb ones to the Mrs...as a present lol

Lovin' the car but the audio system and 5 digit satnav will take some getting use to.

    Cheers again for your help.
