a few questions

So, i've established i've got a B7. It's my first Audi so forgive me for stupid questions/reposts.

It's 2.0 Tdi TDV 140 S-Line
29000 miles and will be doing around 30k a year

What are the best/recommended tyres?
What is the best oil?
Anything I should have checked or replaced?

The system in it is an RNS-E with a CD/TV button and an iPod dock in the glove box, it was while researching this I found this site so have done some digging..

my question...Will a dension or any other adaption enable me to navigate the iPod/Phone through the RNS-E and steering wheel controls and view tracks?

I've left a message for Ben at Shark and am awaiting his response.

Don't expect much on a Saturday night. People have jobs and lifes remember.

Tyres - what size are yours? Depends on how much you want to spend?

Oil - 5W30 fully synthetic Castrol Edge - Audi sell this themselves but with a different label - Quantum longlife III

You can fit a Dension for iPod - or you could fix an Aux port for the same benefit.

Jobs and lives... I guess so, was just surprised at 47 views without a reply....

Oil is the same as the passat so got some of this already

Tyres are 235/40/18. Safety and the life of the tyre are more important to me so don't mind buying branded tyres, what did Audi supply the car with? What's the best choice?

Also...would the car give me an 'old oil' warning? Thought this popped up yesterday...8k since last service so should be ok?

Just a friendly FYI - if your thread title is as non-descriptive as yours is, people will click on it to view so they can understand the question but may not feel they are able to answer it.

In my case I have a different model, have not changed tyres, will have it serviced with Audi and can't recommend checks/replacements as I have not had to do any.

Sarcastic posts when looking for help will do little to help you find what you're after.
As Thon says......I've clicked in but I don't have a diesel.
There are many different models of A4 B7 so many people will view but be unable to help......with your sarcasm, they me now be unwilling

Give people a chance and make sure the title is descriptive.
