Hi,

I hope someone on here can help me diagnose a problem I'm having with my Audi and I apologise in advance if this is in the wrong section.

I've got an A4 2.0TDi convertible final edition, Auto. I've noticed that when I've been driving the car around town and once the engine is warm, when I turn off the ignition and then start it again within 15-20 minutes, it makes a (not too loud) metal clanking noise but then runs fine. That's the only time I hear it. Apart from that it's a smooth start-up when cold or when its been parked for more than half an hour after its been driven. It's just shy by a few hundred miles of 60k mileage so not sure if its the timing belt which might need changing.

Any help on this would be most appreciated.

Thanks.
