    Hi folks, finally got round to registering with this forum. Must say, it looks like a decent place...

    This is my 2nd German marque ( also a Merc owner, I know, I can be forgiven ! ), but this is not my 1st Avant, I previously had the C5 version, but the 4F version with all the toys is just streets ahead, with the MMI, park distance f/r etc....

    I've had my 3.0tdi avant for a while now ,a few months & am already getting used to it's quirks..... yup, drainage issues under the screen, all sorted nipped in the bud !

    Just done the ATF fluid also, pretty easy, as on my other cars, same silly method, upside down fill at a 40deg C etc.... Managed to get a good deal on the Lifeguard 6 fluid.

    Look forward to contributing & peeking about....
