    Hi all,

Im having a slight problem with my VW Bora (02 plate) 1.6 SE

When im stationary, it tends to shake quite a bit... not had any warning lights coming up or anything, but this is getting quite annoying and slightly worrying. The Rev counter still reads the same, sitting at around 700, and the car still rides quite nicely...

Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem and any advice?

    Thanks in advance!

Check the engine mounts and bushes.

Failing that, does it still shake at just above idle, say 900rpm. It could just be struggling for fuel / air? Check the filters and if need be replace 'em

Good luck in finding your problem

My golf 1.6 will shake at 700 rpm, I guess just because the engine revs are low, and the engine reaches a certain frequency. The vibration sounds almost like a random tune.
