The intake manifold motor is on the intake pipe that connects to the inlet manifolds and the rubber boost hose fixes into it. It's on the right hand side as you look at the engine next to the power steering reservoir. It has a electrical connector and it about 300 od quid in dealer !

I have this fault intermittently on my A4.
I clear it and it stays away for a month or 2, as Chris says £300 part.

Found it thank you very much. Now before i go and throw £300 which by the way I don't really have is there anything what I can check? The fault Im getting is 19559(P3103) motor for intake manifold flap V157 malfunction. Looking at wiki Ross-tech it looks more like a electrical fault than a mechanical failure http`://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/19559/P3101/012545 thanks again

    A bit of an update
Took the throttle body of and opened up. The plastic wheels inside are knackered. The motor seems to be fine. Can anyone tell me if this part is the same on all v6 audi vw skoda range? Will one form a 150bhp be the same as mine? Thank you

More and more problems I relay need help please!!
Started the car yesterday and the engine idles erratically loads of white smoke. Once the engine is warm seems to be OK. Try to drive it no power. Will not rev over 2500rpm. Engine light on and also ESP light on.Cant hear turbo whistling. Took it to the mechanic and apart from the manifold flap no other errors. The flap is open all the time so it shouldn't affect it. Thing i checked. Vacuum lines OK, egr valve cleaned and refitted checked function OK, Waste gate OK goes up and down, new fuel filter air filter just been serviced. Was thinking to change or check the Maf but the readings on the tester were normal. Any ideas please
