ABS light on - deadlocked door - help

1998 Passat 20V Turbo (AEB engine)
In the last few days the ABS light and red flashing exclamation mark have been intermittently coming on. When the light is off the ABS works, when it's on the ABS doesn't work (as expected). Could this be a dodgy ABS sensor or a faulty ABS module.
For a while now the off side rear door has been deadlocked shut. At first it was intermittent but now it's jammed plus the electric window for that door has also stopped working. The CCM appears to be dry so I'm out of ideas. Is the jammed door and not working electric window a coincidence or linked.
My radio reception is really bad on the Philips Gamma head unit and my CD changer has stopped working - heard that this could be linked to CCM.
If I change CCM will it need to be reprogrammed to my car - do I need VAGCOM?
Any help will be appreciated as these niggly problems really annoy me.

Could be. I've had the same problem, VW told me it needed a new ABS module, well I fitted one and that didn't cure the problem, now going to try swapping sensors.
