so ive had my car for exactly 24 hours and i decided to change the haldex oil.
i removed the check plug to check the level and when i went to put it back on the thread had dropped inside the unit.
now i dont know where to start. is this going to be a complete removal of the haldex?
im kinda in shock right now i cant beleive this is even possible.

    welcome to the forum.
if you can't fish all the thread out, its going to need stripping. running it like this will cost even more money. maybe it will come out when you drain the oil, but i think its going to need removing. then you have to sort a new thread, either a helicoil or tap it larger, and thats going to get swarfe in the box as well.
