    Default MK5 Golf diagnostics – 11-07-2012,11:06 PM
    Am I correct in saying I'm looking at £200+ for VCDS/Vagcom diagnostics for a MK5 Golf? This is what the ilexa website seems to suggest, I can't make sense of the Rosstech site!

    I am thinking of purchasing a MK5 GT TDI soon and want something that will allow me to check DTC's on potential purchases, but I don't fancy paying that much money!

    Have a read of VCDS Compatibilty Charts that will show you which cable does what on which vehicle. You could use the Micro-CAN its cheaper.
    2010 Golf GTD (170) CBBB, 5 Door, Shadow Blue (P6/D5Q), Flat Tyre Indicator, Basic Protection Pack + VCDS.
