Rather then just create yet another tire thread, I figured i'd tag along on this one....

Just bought 2 Pirelli P7 205/55/V16's for the front of my A4, as the old Michelin Primacy wern't cutting it anymore.

They were still well above the legal limit (about 3mm) but with all this rain lately, i just wasn't getting the grip i demand

A fitted and balanced for £160 and old tires disposed of (I know some places are now charging extra to dispose of them)

Not the cheapest option by any means (could have had Avons for 55 a tire ) but we've all been there before when cheaper tires have failed.



One of my mates drives a cab (mondeo TDi130) and swears by them, and claims they have great grip (and he does have a right foot made of lead)

I was going to buy Conti's, but my tire size was out of stock, so i opted for the pirelli's

Just out of interest, is anyone else running these?

Just a thought...Conti Sport Contact 3 in this size from tyreshopper.co.uk, fitted balanced in a national tyres near you for 98 quids ....brilliant tyres in my experience.
