Forgot to say that my tyre size is also 225/45/17's

£90 a corner and they will fit them wherever your car is. I phoned them at about 3pm the day before they came out. They call and give you a time within 1 hour, (i was told between 2pm and 3pm and there he was)

i think we might have to separate the categories for this

    Summertime/Wet
    Wintertime/Wet
    All Seasons

The reason i suggest this is because some tyres are outstanding in the dry hot months, but rubbish in the winter.

Take the Eagle F1 as a good example. Anything with a tread like that is going to be really good in hot weather and also in the rain, but would be awful in the snow beacuse of its tread pattern

Tyres tend to get better the more you spend, not always the case but thats what i`ve found.

    i'd like your opinions please.

Currently i have Bridgestone Turanza's 225 / 45 / 17 on my car and i'm thinking that i should go for these as their replacements. The price is per tyre and includes postage and packing. All I need to do is find a fitter.

i needed tyres for my leon cupra r (225/40/18) and went with pirelli p-zero nero, £400 including balance and fitting, again cash was paid so no vat and a discount at that.

well the car sticks like glue and is quiet under normal driving so im happy, specially since i prefer the F1 style tread to the v-shape pattern and apparently that is the only tyre that has the traditional tread in that size (at least the only ones at similar quality in my budget that they could supply!)

i am told that they last ages too! we will see about that

    Is that a fitted price?

If so, it's a good price indeed.
