Just a quick one guys..... doesnt actually matter what VAG I guess (is there a 'general' forum I havent spotted?).... does anyone have any experience with an aftermarket engine remap and Audi warranty? On a nearly 4yr old S5, I'm just about to take out the dealership extended warranty. But I wouldnt if they were likely to say that the remap invalidated the warranty?
    thanks in advance for advice!

Straight from FlashRemappings own mouth .. (keyboard?)

my understanding is that a manufacturer can only deny a warantee claim if the remapping is a direct cause of the problem - otherwise they cannot deny the claim - this is where picking a Viezu dealer makes sense as we all have underwritten insurance that covers the vehicle for faults that are a direct cause of remapping - this would be subject to an inspection by a MIRA inspector - this should leave you as covered as you were in the first place
